Uji Matcha Set Okumidori – Green Bowl

Discover our luxury Uji Matcha Set featuring the rare Okumidori cultivar, also known as “green gold”. Grown in Uji, Japan, this exceptional matcha is the result of over 350 years of tea craftsmanship and tradition.

The set includes a 30 g tin of premium Uji matcha (approx. 30 cups), a handmade matcha bowl from Uji, Japan, a bamboo whisk, and a bamboo spoon. A perfect gift or a beautiful addition to your daily matcha ritual.

Taste: grassy, creamy, umami
Cultivar: Okumidori (single origin)
Origin: Uji, Kyoto – Japan (organic)
Harvest: first flush, mid-May
Process: shade-grown tea leaves, slowly stone-ground using a ceramic ball mill (approx. 10 kg per hour)

How to prepare matcha

  1. Add ½ g (1 bamboo spoon) matcha to a bowl
  2. Add 1 tbsp of water and mix into a smooth paste
  3. Add 60 ml water (75–80 °C)
  4. Whisk 10–15 seconds in fast W-shaped movements until frothy

How long does it take to receive my order?

PostNL delivers Mondays till Saturdays. The delivery time to The Netherlands is approximately 1-3 business days. The delivery time to Germany, Belgium and France is 2-4 business days. The shipping time for the rest of Europe is 3-6 business days and beyond 5-15 business days.
